Europa Capital, the pan-European real estate investment manager, has now begun a £10m comprehensive refurbishment of Warsaw’s Radisson Blu Centrum Hotel, which will see the property transformed and added to Radisson Hotel Group’s global portfolio of Radisson Collection branded hotels, the first in Poland.
The hotel will be significantly upgraded to include a modern lobby and lounge, open plan common areas, exceptional meetings and events facilities, with the capacity to host more than 400 people. All of the hotel’s 311 rooms will be remodelled to create the highest standard of guest experience. The hotel is closed during the refurbishment period with expected completion in the first half of 2019.
Located within Warsaw’s city centre and near the city’s financial district, the Radisson Collection Hotel, Warsaw will be ideally situated for business travellers. The hotel will benefit from excellent transport links with the Warsaw Chopin Airport only 25 minutes away and the newly renovated Central Railway Station approx. 1 kilometre away, providing convenient access to other Polish cities as well as major business hubs such as Berlin, Paris, London and Rome.
Europa Capital partnered with WX Management Services on the project, drawing on the firm’s localised and sector-specific asset management skills. Europa Capital and WX Management Services previously worked together to refurbish the Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel, Warsaw which successfully completed in 2010. The partners will work closely with Radisson Hotel Group on the upcoming refurbishment. The Radisson Collection Hotel, Warsaw will be operated by Radisson Hospitality AB under an International Management agreement.
