Europa Capital, the pan-European real estate investment manager, announces that it has bolstered its asset management team with the appointment of Rachel Hanke as Managing Director, Portfolio Manager.
Rachel brings nearly 20 years of portfolio and asset management experience having worked in several roles across the real estate sector. Rachel will be responsible for recommending and implementing investment and asset management strategies for Europa Capital’s value-add funds series.
Rachel has spent the last two years managing private residential investments, alongside advising real estate private equity funds on product development and strategic growth plans. Prior to this, Rachel was a Director at FREO Group where she was responsible for group-wide portfolio management initiatives, strategic capital market expansion, and product development for various strategies.
Before joining FREO Group, Rachel was an Investment Director at Revetas Capital and spent almost eight years at AIG Global Real Estate. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia, which she supplements with a Master of Business Administration from London Business School.
Rachel’s appointment is the 20th in the last 12 months as Europa Capital continues to hire talent to support the strategic growth of the business, and follows the appointment of Emilie Bouthors as Managing Director, Portfolio Manager, for its open-ended core fund, the Europa Diversified Income Fund (“EDIF”), last year.
