Europa Capital, the pan-European real estate investment manager, announces the expansion of its Private Capital Markets team with the appointment of Ian Currie as Director as it looks ahead to another year of strong capital-raising to support a range of European strategies.
The newly created role will also support the management and growth of Europa Capital’s EMEA-based client relationships across global real estate equity and real estate debt funds, working closely with other Europa Capital affiliates and Mitsubishi Estate’s global marketing team.
Ian brings to the role a strong track record and contact base in real estate business development and investment management, having most recently specialised in capital raising at Nuveen Real Estate (formerly known as TH Real Estate). His experience at TH Real Estate involved working with leading institutional investors in their cross-border real estate equity and debt investments in Europe, Asia and the US, across core and value-add. He was previously with Grosvenor Group where he developed his direct real estate experience in investment management and subsequently qualified as a Commercial Chartered Surveyor. He holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cambridge.
