Spektrum Tower has signed a lease agreement with the fitness operator, CityFit. The club will lease over 2,800 square metres in the iconic Warsaw skyscraper on the first and second floors. This will offer a unique 24 hours a day, 7 days a week fitness concept for clients on flexible membership terms in the very centre of the city. The planned opening of the facility is for the Winter 2014/2015.
The Warsaw CityFit gym will be the third club in the Polish chain but the first in the city. The fitness club will be equipped with the latest exercise machines and offer a variety of fitness classes for people who work in the building and those living in vicinity. With the addition of CityFit, the building will promote healthy lifestyle living as commuters will be able to cycle to work with their own bike or use one of the public rental bikes with a dedicated station at the entrance of the building. Changing facilities with showers will also be provided on the ground floor as part of the refurbishment.
“With the refurbishment of the building progressing according to plan, we are very pleased to be able to welcome CityFit into Spektrum Tower. This exciting gym concept will not only attract visitors to the building but will be a fantastic amenity for the building’s occupiers. With convenient access via all methods of transport and plenty of parking on offer, we believe Spektrum Tower is ideally placed for CityFit to grow its membership base. Along with other planned amenities we expect to announce soon, Spektrum Tower will become an exciting place for people to both visit and work.” – James Pennington, Europa Capital.
“We are pleased to have signed a long-term lease for space in Spektrum Tower. This will be the first CityFit club in Warsaw which is perfectly located in the heart of the business district and will be a new concept not before seen in the city. Split over two-floors, this exciting 24 hour club will be open to members after December 2014” – Nicholas Moses, Managing Director, CityFit.
“CityFit is a great further addition to Spektrum Tower which is in one of the most convenient Warsaw office locations. No other CBD offices can offer a comparable size of fitness centre with 24 hour, 7 day a week access. We are very proud to have CityFit in Spektrum Tower.” – Christian Fojtl, Managing Partner , WX Management Services sp. z o.o. “With the refurbishment of Spektrum Tower progressing well and the high level of technical specification the building has to offer, we are seeing significant interest from various other occupiers and look forward to announcing further lease signings shortly.”
