It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris Bennett, a Director of Europa Capital Emerging Europe Limited. Chris passed away recently after a short
illness.
Chris was a partner at Richard Ellis (the forerunner of CBRE); he then successfully created and chaired the DTZ office network throughout eastern Europe.
He was the first Chairman of the RICS in Hungary and a regular Chairman of RICS examination panels.
On his retirement from DTZ he became a founding Director of Europa Emerging Europe Ltd and served on the Investment Committee of the Fund.
Chris was a great friend and colleague with a sense of purpose and a good sense of humour – he will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of working and
dealing with him.
